Transfer from Cape Town to historic Lanzerac in Stellenbosch. Settle in before meeting Daniel and the group over welcome drinks and dinner.
02 Thursday, 30 September · Cape WinelandsPainting the Winelands
Paint among vineyards, Cape Dutch architecture and old oak trees as Daniel demonstrates his approach to working directly from life and offers personal critiques.
03 Friday, 1 October · Boulders Beach and BloubergstrandPenguins and coastal light
Follow the Cape Peninsula to the African penguin colony, paint the changing coastal light and finish with Table Mountain rising across the bay.
04 Saturday, 2 October · BabylonstorenGardens, orchards and architecture
Paint among formal gardens, fruit orchards, historic buildings and mountain backdrops before lunch at the celebrated estate.
05 Sunday, 3 October · KirstenboschBeneath Table Mountain
Spend the day painting indigenous flora, towering trees and mountain vistas in Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden, with demonstration and critique from Daniel.
06 Monday, 4 October · StellenboschFinal morning in the Cape
Enjoy a relaxed final painting session and group critique before a free afternoon to pack, unwind and prepare for the safari chapter.
07 Tuesday, 5 October · Kapama Private Game ReserveInto the African wilderness
Fly to Hoedspruit, transfer to Kapama and begin the safari with a sunset drive through Big Five country followed by dinner beneath the stars.
08 Wednesday, 6 October · KapamaWildlife and golden hour
Start with a morning game drive, paint from life and watch Daniel demonstrate before returning to the bush in the magical evening light.
09 Thursday, 7 October · KapamaSafari masterclass
Balance wildlife encounters with intensive instruction as Daniel explores movement, simplification and the distinctive light of the African landscape.

Complete your final painting, take one last safari drive and celebrate ten unforgettable days with a farewell dinner.

After breakfast, transfer to Hoedspruit Airport for onward flights via Johannesburg, carrying new paintings and the memories of the journey.
