We do not approach, feed or direct wild animals for an image or a painting. Guests follow the instructions of qualified guides and reserve teams at all times.

Place before spectacle
Routes and activities are chosen for the quality of encounter, not the number of boxes ticked. Smaller groups and slower days reduce pressure while making better artistic work possible.
Local knowledge matters
We value Africa-based hosts, guides, lodges and specialists whose knowledge gives each place context. Supplier and community relationships are reviewed as journeys evolve.
Honest expectations
Wildlife, weather and light cannot be staged. Itineraries may adapt to real conditions, and we describe inclusions, exclusions and physical requirements as clearly as possible.
A lighter field practice
Guests are encouraged to minimise waste, use art materials carefully, respect site rules and leave painting locations exactly as they were found.
Respectful storytelling
Photography and artwork should honour people, communities and cultural settings. Permission and dignity come before content.
