Because you are on our VIP Priority List, the doors are opening to you first. For years, collectors and artists alike have asked when a certain modern master would bring his palette to the African continent. Today, we are honored to announce that for the first time in history, world-renowned artist Daniel Keys will make his South African debut.
Welcome to the Wild & Winelands workshop. This is not a standard painting trip. It is a 10-day, ultra-luxury, dual-destination immersion designed to completely redefine your artistic perspective, bridging the historic elegance of the Cape with the raw, beating heart of the Greater Kruger.

Daniel Keys
| | A modern master of contemporary realism, Daniel Keys is celebrated worldwide for his breathtaking ability to capture light, atmosphere, and the delicate intricacies of the natural world. Painting predominantly from life, his work is defined by confident brushwork, an exquisite sense of color, and a visceral understanding of form. Whether rendering the quiet elegance of a floral arrangement or the grand scale of a plein air landscape, Daniel’s canvases do more than depict a scene—they evoke a feeling. As a highly sought-after instructor, his teaching philosophy centers on slowing down, simplifying complexity, and helping artists develop a profound new way of seeing. In 2027, he makes his historic South African debut with Workshops in Africa, bringing his masterful palette to the continent for the very first time.

Part I: The Historic Cape Winelands
September 29 – October 3
Our journey begins in Stellenbosch at the legendary Lanzerac Estate, a 5-star heritage site established in 1692. Imagine waking up to the crisp mountain air, painting the intricate, velvety structures of indigenous flora while surrounded by world-class vineyards.
The Highlight: You will enjoy an exclusive, private painting session at the internationally acclaimed Dylan Lewis Sculpture Garden, studying the masterful intersection of bronze form and native landscape.
Part II: Into the Untamed Bushveld
| October 3 – October 9
| Midway through our expedition, we board a flight north, descending into the 13,000-hectare wilderness of the Kapama Private Game Reserve. Here, the canvas changes entirely. You will trade vineyards for the golden savanna, tracking the Big Five on private game drives and capturing the fleeting, spectacular light of the African sunset right from your easel.
